Shift Availability: Full Time - Days and Nights - 12 Hours (Rotating
Weekends)

Position Summary:
Cardiac nurses assess acute changes in patients. They monitor and analyze the heart rhythm of patients, interpret ECGs, note arrhythmias, and intervene in emergencies. They have high-level critical thinking skills, vast clinical knowledge, and can stay calm under pressure.
About the Unit: •

• 36 Bed Cardiac Specialty Unit
• Nurse to Patient Ratio: 4 to 5:1
• On Day Shift / 5 to 6:1 on Night Shift - 1 Tech per Hall

• Graduation from a school of nursing with either a Diploma, ADN or BSN

• Must hold a current RN license from the Missouri State Board of Nursing or a Multistate RN license from a
  participating compact state required.
• BLS certification is required upon
  hire
• ACLS certification within 1 year of hire date
