We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Salesforce SW Engineer to join our Ambulatory Monitoring & Diagnostics (AM&D) team, a part of the Philips Connected Care business cluster. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop processes that integrate Salesforce and the various other business systems within Philips.

Your role:

  • Developing robust, fault tolerant software solutions that deliver business value while adhering to Quality System Procedures governing software version control, configuration management and the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), with a focus on ease of maintenance and extensibility.

  • Operates in full compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as applicable regulations and laws, including but not limited to FDA requirements.

  • Responsible to report any procedure or process that doesn’t meet regulatory requirements, whether suspected or confirmed, to management. This reporting can be done directly to any member of management, including Human Resources.

  • Following organizational practices in version control, software development and configuration management, including key performance indicators for the management of software development.

  • Integrating applications with other corporate systems and with third party software and performing data migrations.

  • Investigating and resolving issues escalated by application support team in a timely manner to the satisfaction of the business stakeholders.

  • Assisting in the authoring and reviewing of technical documentation regarding the design, configuration, creation, installation, and maintenance of application components.

  • Mentoring team members on technology and fostering a collaborative team environment.

  • Maintaining and refining a broad knowledge of relevant and appropriate new technologies, as well as championing technical innovation and influencing decisions within all levels of the enterprise.

You're the right fit:

  • 6+ years of job-related, hands-on experience developing and documenting solutions within Salesforce. Experience with the different segments of the Salesforce architecture such as asynchronous Apex, LWC, Aura, and VisualForce, as well as declarative solutions. Experience with a major object-oriented programming language (C#) a plus.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, a technical or business discipline preferred, Master’s Degree, or equivalent experience is a plus.

  • Design and develop updates to the Salesforce implementation to meet business defined requirements ranging from small visual or data updates to larger customized changes.

  • Evaluate project requirements, determine and design the best solution to a problem or feature, develop detailed specification, code, unit test and implement the solution

  • Demonstrated experience integrating with Salesforce via the Salesforce API’s and with external systems

  • Experience with Microsoft SQL 2008 R2, 2012, 2014, 2016

  • Experience working within an Agile/SCRUM based development environment and meeting team commitments.

  • Experience with web services, JavaScript, JQuery, XML, and HTML

  • Must have experience with git version control (creating and managing unlocked packages, continuous integration, LWC and Aura architecture, integrating SLDC with use of scratch orgs)

  • Must have experience with Microservices within cloud environment, AWS preferred

  • Experience with automated testing tool and experience with Test Driven Design, a plus.

  • Experience working with vendors and third-party consultants, a plus.

  • Experience with development, deployment, and support of software applications in a regulated business environment, a definite plus.
