Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first The Senior Quality Improvement Professional is an integral part of the Florida Quality Improvement Department. This role will collaborate with internal and external customers to complete fast-paced and time sensitive projects. The Senior Quality Improvement Professional will ensure The Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration benchmarks, goals and deliverables for Quality Improvement clinical and non-clinical performance projects are met. This role is expected to research, gather information and analyze data in an expedited timeframe and use QI tools and templates to report out in cross-functional workgroups/subgroups using the tenants of QI Science. This position will also require leading internal and external workgroups for the collaborative as directed. The Senior Quality Improvement Professional works independently, sometimes in ambiguous situations, and work may be performed with minimal direction. The position will have additional responsibilities based on business needs Use your skills to make an impact Required Qualifications: Active licensed nurse in the state of Florida or Enhanced Nurse License Compact, eNLC, without disciplinary action Bachelor's degree Experience with QI methodologies (i.e., IHI model of improvement) and familiarity with QI Tools and reporting (i.e., FMEA, PDSA, DMAIC workflows/diagrams, root cause analysis) Intermediate to Advanced proficiency performing moderate to complex data analysis Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple project deadlines Understanding of healthcare quality measures such as CAHPS, NCQA, HEDIS, etc. Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and vendors Excellent oral, written, and confident presentation skills providing information to internal and external stakeholders Intermediate or better working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree in business, healthcare, or related field Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) Previous Medicaid Health Plan experience Behavioral Health experience Additional Information Workstyle: Remote work at home Location: Florida Schedule: 40-hour work week Monday through Friday Standard hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Must be able to manage schedule and prioritize meetings in Eastern Time Zone Travel: Occasional travel one time annually as business needs Work at Home Guidance To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$76,800 - $105,800 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
