<strong>Job title: Senior Quality Assurance Engineer</strong><br><br><strong>Location: Paramus, NJ 07652</strong><br><br><strong>Pay Rate: $76-78.63/hour on W2</strong><br><br><strong>Job Type: 6+ Months Contract Role (possibility of extension or full time hire)</strong><br><br><strong>Shift Time: 8am - 5pm Mon - Fri</strong><br><br><strong>Job Description:</strong><br><br>The Sr Quality Assurance Engineer will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing quality processes across our development lifecycle.<br><br>This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify gaps in current processes, pinpoint opportunities for automation, enhance testing methodologies, and ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.<br><br><strong>Primary Duties / Responsibilities</strong><br><br><strong>Define Quality Processes: </strong>Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance processes and best practices to ensure high standards across all stages of product development.<br><br><strong>Identify Gaps and Opportunities:</strong> Conduct thorough assessments of current testing procedures to identify gaps and areas for improvement, focusing on enhancing overall quality and efficiency.<br><br><strong>Automation Opportunities:</strong> Evaluate current testing procedures and identify opportunities to integrate automation for efficiency and accuracy.<br><br><strong>Automation Implementation:</strong> Design, develop, and implement automation frameworks and tools to support continuous integration and delivery.<br><br><strong>Process Improvement:</strong> Continuously monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify trends, root causes of issues, and areas for improvement in the testing and quality program.<br><br><strong>Collaboration:</strong> Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and operations, to ensure quality is embedded throughout the product lifecycle.<br><br><strong>Training and Mentorship:</strong> Provide guidance and mentorship to application team members, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.<br><br><strong>Risk Management:</strong> Identify potential risks in the development process and implement strategies to mitigate them.<br><br><strong>Stay Current:</strong> Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in quality engineering and automation technologies.<br><br><strong>Qualifications</strong><br><br><strong>Education:</strong> Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.<br><br><strong>Experience:</strong> Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality engineering, with a focus on process definition, gap analysis, and automation.<br><br>Proficiency in automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).<br><br>Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or similar.<br><br>Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).<br><br>Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.<br><br>Strong communication and collaboration abilities.<br><br>Leadership skills with a proven track record of mentoring and guiding teams.<br><br>Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, Certified Software Quality Engineer) are a plus
