The Virtual Construction Senior Manager will leverage advanced Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies and methodologies to enhance project planning, coordination, and execution - collaborating closely with project stakeholders to optimize project outcomes and drive innovation in the construction industry.<br> <br> <b>Responsibilities</b> <br> <ul> <li>Provide strategic leadership aligned with company goals and industry best practices.<br></li> <li>Lead the integration of virtual construction methodologies into project delivery including but not limited to BIM coordination and clash detection, animations and sequencing, and quality control.<br></li> <li>Enhance and implement standard operating procedures and best practices, including BIM Execution Plans to ensure successful operation of BIM coordination and animations.<br></li> <li>Lead a team of Associates and Managers through project tasks, providing mentorship and growth opportunities for our team members.<br></li> <li>Utilize advanced BIM software and technologies to coordinate detailed virtual models of project designs, including architectural, structural, and MEP systems.<br></li> <li>Ability to successfully manage multiple projects concurrently, determine schedule, staffing and budget for VDC scope.<br></li> <li>Communicate coordination issues and interact with clients, architects, designers, engineers, subcontractors, and HITT project team to foster a collaborative environment and proactively manage model-based conflicts.<br></li> <li>Work closely with project teams to develop 4D construction sequencing simulations based on virtual models.<br></li> <li>Analyze construction schedules to identify opportunities for schedule optimization and risk mitigation.<br></li> <li>Establish quality control procedures for virtual construction deliverables to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.<br></li> <li>Conduct regular reviews of virtual models and project documentation to verify adherence to established standards.<br></li></ul> <br> <b>Qualifications</b> <br> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Construction Management, Building Science, Engineering, Architecture) or equivalent experience.<br></li> <li>5-8 years of practical experience in commercial construction, with at least 5 years of specific BIM/VDC process experience.<br></li> <li>Proficiency in understanding construction documents, shop drawings, and other design communication tools.<br></li> <li>Working knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, SketchUp, Synchro Pro, Adobe CC, Bluebeam, P6, and Microsoft Office.<br></li> <li>Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.<br></li> <li>Demonstrated working knowledge of current BIM tools and VDC processes.<br></li> <li>Passion for learning and adoption of new technology.<br></li> <li>Active membership in appropriate professional organizations.<br></li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<br></li> <li>Proven track record of successfully implementing virtual construction strategies on complex commercial projects.<br></li></ul> <br> <b>HITT Contracting, Inc. is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment.
