Senior Electrical Engineer

Description Our engineering services span across multiple industries, including renewable energy, electric power, oil and gas, water/wastewater treatment, recycling, mining, higher education, casinos, and commercial office buildings.We offer competitive base salaries with benefits plus additional compensation based on work performance.Employees can expect to start work at 7 am and sometimes face demanding work assignments with short timeframes.Perform detailed design of low and medium voltage electrical systemsDevelop and draft electrical drawings, including one-line, three-line, schematic and wiring diagrams, conduit and cable sizing/routing, and physical layoutsSpecify electrical equipment and review submittals/shop drawingsPerform electrical calculations by hand and using analysis software, such as ETAP or SKMPerform electrical system studies, including short circuit, coordination and arc-flashDevelop relay settings for SEL, GE, Beckwith, Basler, etcReview junior electrical engineers' work Qualifications BSEE (BS Electrical Engineering) or BSEET (BS Electrical Engineering Technology) degree, from an accredited universityPreferred: MSEE with power optionUnderstanding of power system analysis, including symmetrical componentsKnowledge of NEC and IEEE/ANSI standardsPE registrationExperience with electrical engineering softwareExperience developing relay settingsStrong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skillsKnowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)Experience with photovoltaic systems and other types of distributed generationExperience designing substationExperience with programmable logic controllersExperience with industrial electrical systems such as those found at water/wastewater treatment, recycling, oil and gas facilitiesJob Type: Full-timePay: $125,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year Benefits: Health insuranceHealth savings accountPaid time offRetirement planTuition reimbursementSchedule:8 hour shiftWork Location: In person
