Job Summary
Coordinates the strategic planning, establishment, implementation, and assessment of a complex academic program and interconnected projects, often comprising a series of closely linked subprograms or related activities. Oversees fiscal resources and operational logistics and administrates all aspects of the academic program or projects. Serves as the primary contact person for external stakeholders regarding operational issues. Provides day-to-day technical expertise, professional mentorship, and leadership within the specialized area of focus, ensuring the effective day-to-day functioning and advancement of academic initiatives.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manages the design, implementation, and execution of academic certificate programs, research projects, and additional initiatives.
2. Oversees and administers the day-to-day operations and management of the designated academic programs and activities.
3. Ensures the delivery of high-quality programs that meet the needs of students and instructors and adjusts course content as necessary.
4. Evaluates, selects, and provides constructive feedback to instructors for each course offering.
5. Acts as the primary liaison between internal and external stakeholders regarding all aspects of program activities.
6. Collaborates on and approves the development of quarterly and annual marketing strategies, identifying target audiences, determining promotional strategies, and creating marketing materials.
7. Designates external locations for field experiences, internships, and alternative course delivery venues.
8. Projects enrollment numbers, revenue, and expenses for each academic year, and assesses progress towards financial objectives.
9. Facilitates informational sessions, webinars, public speaking engagements, and promotional events to attract new enrollments.
10. Coordinates the activities of staff, instructors, and student assistants as necessary for program success.
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field
Required Experience
Five (5) years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Educational Qualifications
Advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field
Preferred Experience
Program Management experience
Proposed Salary
