Essential Duties and responsibilities Strategic Planning & Selling: Develop customer growth strategies & plans that align to both High Liner’s strategic goals & the customer’s goals. Identify and optimize new strategic opportunities through collaboration with customers and cross-functional teams. Execute insight based selling to drive long term growth. Effectively execute plans, monitor progress & course correct. Maintain open communication with the Commercial Leadership Team and other appropriate managers as well as other functional areas of the company to keep all informed of opportunities, timelines, and competitive actions within the club channel business community. Use Data and Insights to drive the business and strategic plan Customer Relationships: Build and strengthen high level relationships with key customers to foster trust and grow profitable organic growth. Successfully develop, maintain and oversee senior customer relations interacting with customers, reviewing and discussing the business relationships and proactively managing key issues/problems. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company product offering in order to optimize sales efforts. Financial Accountability: Consistently drive profitable organic growth through sales initiatives. Provide strategic oversight to achieve sales volume and contribution sales goals. Consistently manage trade spend effectively & efficiently. Proactively identify tools and enablers to ensure the process is being used for sales forecast accuracy. Manage SG&A (Selling, General and Administrative Expenses). Manage personal and team’s travel and expense budgets Strong understanding of trade management concepts Leadership: Provide strong leadership, coaching and strategic direction to direct reports. Hire, lead and develop a team to realize their full potential and optimize sales growth initiatives within their assigned key customer accounts. Collaborate and align with peers and cross functional departments, specifically with Marketing/Innovation, Finance, etc. to ensure best in class execution of brand initiatives and the overall business plan. Establish effective relationships with the customer’s key decision makers to enable strategic, collaborative business planning and execution of category growth initiatives. Ability to lead strategic meetings to result in mutually productive outcomes for HLF and key customers. As a senior leader, provide inspirational leadership to help foster and build a strong culture in line with High Liner’s values. Effectively manage brokers nationally to achieve financial targets Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business or related field 5-7 years of experience in sales management within the US Strong selling, presentation, strategic thinking, negotiating, organizational, financial analysis and broker management skills Solid computer skills with focus on Power Point, Excel, Word, etc. Willingness to travel as needed to drive business results - Overnight Travel Required. Percentage of Travel - 40%. Ideally located within the market incumbent will serve or within one hour of a major airport. Join Us!
