<br /><b>Sanitation Tech - 3rd Shift</b><br /><br />US-MO-Carthage<br /><br /><b>Job ID:</b> 2024-6896<br /><b>Type:</b> Regular Full-Time<br /><b># of Openings:</b> 1<br /><b>Category:</b> Sanitation<br />Carthage Plant<br /><br /><b>Overview</b><br /><br /><p><span>Ensure the efficient and effective cleaning of production equipment and adjacent areas, in addition to other environments, following approved sanitary methods.</span> <br /></p><br /><br /><b>Responsibilities</b><br /><br /><div><div><div><div><div><div><ul><li><ul><li><span>Responsible for the safe use of appropriate chemical solutions to ensure the cleanest and most highly sanitized equipment</span></li><li><span>Ensure that all necessary safety precautions are followed in performing your responsibilities</span></li><li><span>Responsible for following through on projects assigned</span><span> </span></li><li><span>Cleans equipment by using hot water hoses and/or high pressure soap hoses with temperatures up to 160 degrees </span></li><li><span>Lifts, carry, push or pull parts or equipment with weights up to 100# or more </span></li><li><span>Climb ladders to clean spirals/equipment</span></li><li><span>Possible forklift/palletjack/manlift licensed for certain areas </span></li><li><span>Tearing equipment down and assisting Production to put line back together</span></li><li><span>Works with soaps and other cleaning compounds, some toxic if not handled correctly</span></li><li><span>Temperatures throughout plant average 50 degrees</span></li><li><span>Required to wear hairnet, smock, boots or overshoes, ear plugs, gloves, plastic sleeves, and aprons provided by the Company</span></li><li><span>Other duties as assigned</span></li></ul><p><span> </span></p><p> </p></li><li><p><span><span>Employee Safety Responsibilities</span></span><span>:</span></p><ul><li><span>Report all injuries, unsafe conditions, unsafe acts & horseplay </span></li><li><span>Use proper lifting techniques </span></li><li><span>Use mechanical assistance (handjack, forklift, manlift)</span></li><li><span>Use personal assistance (buddy)</span></li><li><span>Use handrails</span></li><li><span>Use and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)</span></li></ul></li></ul></div></div></div></div></div></div><p> </p><p><br /></p><br /><br /><b>Qualifications</b><br /><br /><ul><li><span>Prefer High school diploma or general education degree (GED)</span></li><li><span>May require a Forklift/Palletjack Certification </span></li><li><span>Ability to communicate effectively</span></li><li><span>#CARIND</span></li></ul><p><br /></p><br /><br /><img src="https://www.click2apply.net/v/5GJM5WTYaG6l6uXmWFgzNE" /><br /><br /><p>PI242902462</p>
