Casting and Molding Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage day-to-day performance of the manufacturing team
  • Effectively coordinate the fulfillment of manufacturing orders and team priorities
  • Generate Team Performance Reports with a strong understanding of KPI
  • Delegate and effectively manage stock requirements for order fulfillment
  • Responsible for the maintenance of an effective working space, maintain and implement effective systems for a clean, regulatory compliant environment
  •  Experience with:
  • casting silicone and use of fiberglass molds (3-4 years)
  • trimming and finishing silicone, painting skills specifically silicone painting (3-4 years)
  • Platinum silicone and small batch casting, low pressure injection, gravity fed molds (3-4 years)
  • training & coaching employees with the above skill sets
  • Understanding of different casting material suppliers within the USA
  • Experience managing a mold room, best practice, health and safety standards and stock counting.
  • Exposure to 3D printing preferred
  • Ability to run QC documentation and sign off on high-end products.

  • Interprets data and performance assessments to optimize team member performance and existing processes
  • Confidently uses performance assessments and data, making clear what happened, why it matters, what we are going to do about it and by when
  • Flags errors or mistakes in data/outcomes

Process & System Improvement

  • Understands the process flow within the team
  • Proactively identifies potential areas for experimentation in pursuit of team/company goals
  • Identifies where processes are not performing and approaches solving these challenges with a ‘creator’ mindset 
  • Is responsible for communicating these ideas to managers effectively

Project and Program Ownership

  • Executes well-defined initiatives to solve identified problems in an agile way
  • Ensure that the team’s needs are well represented and the team is informed and up-to-date 

Schedule:

• Full Time: M-F 9:00am – 5:00pm

Compensation:

• Salary + Annual Bonus
