Role and Responsibilities:
- Repair damaged racks
- Design and fabricate assembly jigs
- Support engineering with new equipment setup and installation
- Respond to line calls to assist with troubleshooting and problem resolution
- Guide work of others who perform essentially the same work by setting priorities and reviewing work
- Follow all JSC rules and procedures
- Follow all safety policies
- Perform 5s activities
- Perform cost reduction activities to reduce overall operating costs.
- Associate degree (AS) ; or one to two years of related technical experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Advanced experience in welding and fabrication
- Intermediate understanding of machining
- Basic understanding of jig and fixture design
- Basic understanding of manufacturing maintenance
- Mig welding license(s) preferred
