The Pastor is the visible principle and foundation of unity in the parish (St. John & St. Mary Catholic Churches - Fayetteville, Texas) which the Bishop has entrusted to him. He makes Christ's mission present and enduring in the parish. To fulfill his mission, the Pastor employs suitable, chosen collaborators (clerics, religious, or lay people). He shares with them his mission and entrusts various responsibilities to them.

Positions employed at St. John and St. Mary Catholic Church - Fayetteville, Texas help to extend the ministry of the Pastor ways as outlined in the job description. Therefore, the employee in this position is closely connected to and assists the Pastor in the performance of his ministry and thereby engages in ministry for the Church.

Primary Responsibility:

The position of Front Office Administrator reports directly to and operates under the supervision of the Parish Business Administrator. This position is responsible for the general operation of the Parish Front office and administrative duties of parish records, letters and various forms of parish communication.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities : Manage daily operations of Parish Front Office to include but not limited to; Hospitality

Answering incoming calls. Welcoming all visitors and offering general information as requested. Environment and cleanliness of Reception, Front office, Work and Break rooms. Development and training required of Front Office team.

Communication

Assist in Proofreading various documents and publications of the parishes. Management of Parish website, Facebook page. Assist in the creation of weekly Bulletin Maintain office & church bulletin boards with current information.

Administrative duties

Maintenance of parishioner membership records. Assist in recording of sacramental records per the guidelines of the Diocese of Austin. Production of all sacramental certificates. Assist in the creation of the lay minister liturgical duties schedule. Organization and maintenance of office supply inventory and storage areas. Management of Mass intentions. Assist in management of the Diocese Ethics and Integrity in Ministry (EIM) Compliance of all volunteers. Management of cash donations & rentals received in office. e. mass intentions, memorials, flowers, etc. Assist in coordinating parish ministry events Assist the DRE in the administrative duties of the Faith Formation Program.

Maintenance of St. John and St. Mary Community Event Calendar

Assist in booking parish events to include building rentals. Management of Parish Event Calendar. Production and distribution of monthly and weekly parish calendar reports. Maintaining parish event booking records and documents.

All other duties as assigned.
