Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee the execution of daily safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the Senior Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator.
- Conduct routine safety inspections, depending on project timelines.
- Participate in safety assessments and identify potential hazards.
- Educate staff on safety guidelines, including proper equipment use.
- Offer suggestions for enhancing workplace safety practices.
- Review and analyze onsite accidents to determine their causes.
- Keep thorough records of safety policies, incidents, and related reports.
- Serve as the contact between management and external safety authorities.
- A degree in health and safety or a related field is beneficial.
- Familiarity with tools like PowerPoint, Excel, and safety auditing software.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of relevant safety regulations (OSHA, etc.).
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with employees and leadership.
- Leadership abilities to engage with personnel at all levels.
