RN Unit Manager

<b>Location: </b> Northampton, MA<br> <b>Salary: </b> Depends on Experience<br> <b>Description: </b> Our client is currently seeking a RN Unit Manager to join their team!<br> <br>Scope of Role: <br>Location: Northampton, MA<br> <br>Hours: 8:30am- 5:00pm<br> <br>The RN Unit Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing nursing operations, ensuring quality resident care, managing staff, and maintaining regulatory compliance within the long-term care facility.<br> <br> <b>This job will have the following responsibilities:</b> <ul> <li>Nursing Staff Management </li> <ul> <li>Recruit, hire, train, and supervise nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs) </li> <li>Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback </li> <li>Ensure staff compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations </li> <li>Maintain appropriate staffing levels and schedule coverage </li></ul> <li> Clinical Oversight </li> <ul> <li>Oversee resident care and ensure quality standards are met </li> <li>Participate in interdisciplinary care planning meetings </li> <li>Conduct resident assessments and develop care plans </li> <li>Monitor and ensure proper documentation of resident care </li></ul> <li>Administrative Duties </li> <ul> <li>Manage unit operations and coordinate daily activities </li> <li>Maintain accurate resident records and reports </li> <li>Ensure proper inventory and supply levels </li> <li>Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives </li> <li>Regulatory Compliance Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Implement and maintain infection control protocols </li> <li>Oversee incident reporting and investigation processes</li></ul> </ul> <b>Qualifications & Requirements:</b> <ul> <li>Bachelor&apos;s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred </li> <li>Current RN license in the state of practice </li> <li>3-5 years of long-term care nursing experience </li> <li>Prior supervisory or management experience preferred </li> <li>Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills<br></li> </ul>Interested?
