Civil Engineer (Mid-level EIT or PE)

HRG is an employee-owned, nationally recognized consulting engineering, planning, and infrastructure solutions firm.
We are actively seeking a Civil Staff Professional II to join our dedicated team of professionals in Lehigh Valley, PA. As a Civil Staff Professional II, key responsibilities include:

• Designing portions of public infrastructure projects (pavement, storm sewer systems, ESC & SWM BMPs, etc.)
• Performing municipal subdivision, land development, and stormwater management plan reviews
• Preparing drainage, stormwater management, erosion & sedimentation control and other reports required for project permits and approvals
• Developing regulatory permitting applications (DEP, USACE, NPDES, etc.)
• Assisting with developing public bidding documents and administering construction contracts
• Performing construction observation
• Preparing opinions of probable construction cost
• Assisting with preparation of MS4 annual reports

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
• E.I.T. certification required
• Minimum 2 -4 years' experience to include:

o Subdivision
o Land Development
o Municipal Engineering
o Storm Water Management
o Regulatory Permitting

• Previous internship with a consulting engineering firm preferred
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and various engineering software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, HydroCAD, etc.)
• Team player possessing strong communication, planning and organizational skills
• Requires travel to job sites, meetings, and regional offices.
• Has the legal right to work in the U.S.
