We are searching for a talented RN Resource Nurse
Hours: 32 flex 40hrs
Shift: EVE/NIGHT, 7:15pm - 7:15am with weekend and holiday rotation
Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA
Atwood 5 specializes in the care of Oncology and Palliative Care patients. Oncology Care is provided in collaboration with the Center for Cancer Care for patients requiring chemotherapy or radiation therapy. Chemotherapy is administered by specially trained certified nurses. The focus of Palliative Care is on achieving comfort, improving quality of life, and providing support for patients and their caregivers. This department provides a wonderful foundation for solidifying your RN skills that lead to many career opportunities at Southcoast!

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of three years clinical experience in an appropriate setting, i.e. Oncology, Palliative care is required.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• Chemotherapy certification preferred or willing to become chemo certified within 6 months of hire.

Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 20 hours.

Responsibilities
Under direction of Director, Manager, Patient Care or Designee perform a variety of duties involving the coordination of both clinical and non-clinical care activities including but not limited to staff assignments, staffing levels, etc. Provide guidance, support and coordinate orientation of all new staff members.
Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of three years clinical experience in an appropriate setting, i.e. Oncology, Palliative care is required.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• Chemotherapy certification preferred or willing to become chemo certified within 6 months of hire.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Pay Range
USD $44.46 - USD $81.40 /Hr.
