SHORT TERM OPTION RN: Via Christi Village Pittsburg KS, an Ascension Living community, now offers Short Term Option RN opportunities! As a Short Term Option RN, you will have the unique opportunity to work for a specific period of time and receive premium compensation for your dedicated commitment in a short term option LPN position.

 

WORK ASSIGNMENT: 8, 12, or 14 week assignments, with a maximum of 28 total weeks

 

WORK SCHEDULE: 36 hours per week, including every other weekend and two holidays

 

RATE OF PAY: $70/HOUR!

What You Will Do:

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of
the healthcare organization.

• Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

What You Will Need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Approved Local Exception. For use with unique Union job requirements only. Remove if not for Union preferred.
• Drivers License preferred.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
