Systems Engineer

Radia is seeking a Systems Engineer. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining a robust and fault-tolerant server infrastructure to meet the evolving business and communication needs of Radia. This position ensures uninterrupted patient care and staff productivity by providing technical expertise and IT administrative support for internal and external customers regarding servers, systems, applications and projects as assigned.

Compensation:

Hourly salary range $36.18/hour to $55.18/hour. Salary is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and employment status.

Responsibilities:

Platform support and Design. Implement and oversee monitoring and ongoing maintenance of systems hardware and software infrastructure.
Platform enhancement. Identifying areas for enhancement and efficiency improvements. This includes developing automation as well as investigating alternate products when necessary.
Customer Service. Develops customer service level agreements (SLAs) and proactively seek recommendations on improvements to current SLAs.
Prioritization. Ensures that competing priorities are balanced so that systems resources are used in the most effective manner possible.
Security. Oversee/implements systems security strategies as directed by Systems Engineering Manager.
Training. Provides training ensuring that other team members are trained and update with platform and infrastructure changes to support Radia 24x7.
Working with vendors. Provides clear guidance for systems and software vendors supporting Radia.
Supporting other teams. Providing support for other IT teams and the company at large.

Requirements

Ten (10) years experience in the IT systems engineering field with 5+ of those years working as a Systems Engineer managing and troubleshooting a complex Windows Servers environment with 100 or more servers.
Four (4) years of experience supporting highly available work environment on 24x7 basis.
Experience in support of healthcare in general, and radiology in specific, is a plus.
