3x12 hours per week - 6 month temporary assignemnt

$70.00/hr + $4 to $8 Shift Diff

 

 

 

Job Summary:


As a Registered Nurse in our Level I Trauma Center's Emergency Department, you will be at the forefront of providing critical care to patients with a variety of urgent and life-threatening medical conditions. Our Emergency Department is known for its fast-paced environment and its commitment to excellence in patient care, teaching, and research. You will work alongside a dedicated team of medical professionals to deliver high-quality care and support to patients and their families during critical times.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a highly dynamic and challenging emergency department setting.
  • Perform assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement care for patients across a wide range of conditions.
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor patient responses to treatments.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.
  • Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and research opportunities.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • BSN or currently enrolled.
    DC RN License, or eligibility
  • At least 2 year of clinical experience in an emergency department .
  • Certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification within 1 year of hire
  • Exceptional clinical skills and judgment.
  • Strong ability to work under pressure and react effectively in emergency situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
