Overview:

Monitor the premises to maintain order, enforce regulations, and ensure observance of any suspicious activity by performing the following duties. Essential duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  1. Patrols lobbies, corridors, guest rooms, and other areas, confers with management, interviews guests and employees.
  2. Conducts incident interviews as needed as part of conducting investigations in regards to complaints, thefts, vandalisms, accidents, illness, violations of policies, and any other loss related event.
  3. Monitors security cameras as well as fire panels as needed.
  4. Warns or ejects troublemakers and cautions careless persons.
  5. Responds to, controls, provides and obtains assistance for victims of accidents and/or illness as needed.
  6. Assists management and law enforcement officers in emergency situations.
  7. Controls all situations in a calm, professional, and hospitable manner.
  8. Completes daily logs and incident reports.
  9. Follows lost and found procedures.
  10. Conducts daily key inventories and reports and variances.
  11. Manages distribution of keys and sign out sheets for employees as well as vendors
  12. Responds to alarm notifications.
  13. Assists with emergency/evacuation training and processes.
  14. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Applicants must posses a valid NYS Secruity Guard license.

Must be available to work, morning,evening or over night shifts as well as weekends and holidays when needed.

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED. One year security experience, and/or three years military preferred.

Language Skills: Must be able to communicate clearly with guests, customers, supervisor and fellow employees.

Reasoning Ability: Must be able to use appropriate judgement in determining situations requiring immediate/emergency response and action.

Compensation Range:
The compensation for this position is $18.00/Hr. - $19.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
