Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Mobile Teams

Brief Overview:
We are seeking per diem Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to assist us in our COVID-19 vaccination efforts in all counties across Arizona. No long-distance travel is necessary, but you will receive additional compensation, such as mileage reimbursement and travel per diem, for traveling longer distances within the state.
As part of the Mobile Team operations, LPNs will be responsible for administering COVID-19 and Flu vaccines. These services are provided at various Mobile Clinics located in public health clinics, public schools, and community settings throughout Arizona. Operational duties include collaboration with team members and partner agencies is essential to enhancing community health.
You will receive a schedule of available clinics every Thursday and can choose clinics that fit into your schedule. Bird's Eye Medical creates a schedule based on everyone's requests and uploads it to an app on your phone.
All applicants must hold an active Arizona state professional license and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Schedule:

• Per Diem, varying depending on the assignment.

Location:

• Anywhere in Arizona (travel is optional but provides more choices and potential hours)

What You'll Do:

• Perform Covid-19 Vaccinations.
• Perform Influenza Vaccinations (during Flu season).
• Complete patient Covid-19 symptom pre-screenings.
• Sanitize work areas, tools, etc.
• Handle screening paperwork.
• Respond in the event of an adverse reaction.
• Assist with site set-up and tear-down each day.

Requirements:

• 1+ year of experience as an LPN in an acute care setting (preferred).
• A valid/active LPN Credential is required.
• Empathy, compassion, dependability, and kindness are essential.
• Basic computer skills and technical savviness.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to vaccinate both pediatric and adult populations (18 months +).
