NATURE OF DUTIES:

This is a senior level executive position responsible for executive development of new business opportunities for the benefit of MCI.Overall responsibilities include project management, strategic planning and being a resource for physicians and administration, and others as needed where new services can be considered. The overall goal for this individual is the ongoing growth of the practice and the services that can offered for the benefit of the practice and MCI patients.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION:

1.Experience with business development, marketing, or management of a physician practice.

2.Experience in developing or implementing successful operations and standards for a medical practice.

3. BS or Masters level degree preferred.

SPECIFIC DUTIES :

1.The primary responsibility of the VP of Business Development is to develop and implement new business opportunities, special projects, new service lines and any other growth opportunities that can benefit the patients and shareholders of MCI.

2.As a secondary responsibility, the VP of Business Development may serve as a resource to the CEO, CNO, and VP of Operations for a variety of opportunities related to growth and expansion of the practice.

3.The VP of Business Development oversees all aspects of MCI growth including physician recruiting, new service lines, new products, new hospital partners, and new business ventures. New Service line managers of areas of responsibility may report directly to the VP of Business Development for their specific service.

4.The VP of Business Development oversees all marketing, public relations, event planning, social media and other community events.

5.The VP of Business Development works to improve relationships with all referring physicians and providers outside of MCI and develops strategic initiatives to grow new patient volume and improve communication.

6.The VP of Business Development is responsible for strategic community partnerships and for growing the MCI brand.

7.The VP of Business Development reviews, monitors, and evaluates day-to-day and long-term procedures being followed in operations institutes changes or recommends improvements to the CEO and VP of Operations.

8.Performs other related duties as assigned and serves in whatever other capacity deemed necessary for successful completion of the mission and goals of MCI and in accordance with MCI's patient philosophy.

Exhibits good communication skills with physicians, patients, team leaders, and co-workers at all times.

7.Exhibits whenever possible a harmonious relationship with other MCI employees in order to accomplish the duties and responsibilities of the position.

8.The employee shall work and relate cooperatively with all other employees (internal customers) of MCI to assure optimum care for the patients of MCI and to achieve standards of care set forth by the MCI medical staff.

9.Adheres to the MCI Compliance Plan as it pertains to the above specific job duties. Uses best efforts to maintain compliance by following the MCI Corporate Compliance Plan, attending MCI compliance education, following medical documentation guidelines, and communicating concerns regarding compliance issues.
