RN-Emergency Department Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Ascension Providence Hospital in Waco, Texas. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs, medication administration, and other relevant data to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (GN) or current Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Texas.
• One or more of the following certifications: Advanced Life Support (ALS) or Basic Life Support (BLS).

• Experience working in an Emergency Department or critical care setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
