Pay: $24 per hour Shift: 1st Shift, 8 am - 5 pm, Monday-Friday As an Accounts Payable Clerk reporting to the Accounting Manager, you'll be responsible for managing and maintaining accounts payable records, processing payments, and controlling expenses through meticulous handling of invoices. Your duties will include verifying vendor W9 forms and new vendor information, reviewing invoices for proper documentation and approval, and communicating with vendors regarding invoice issues and payments. You'll resolve discrepancies related to purchase orders, contracts, invoices, or payments, ensuring credits for outstanding memos. Additionally, you'll enter invoice details into the ERP system, generate payment proposals, process weekly payment runs, reconcile vendor accounts, and address payment processing inquiries. Maintaining accounts payable spreadsheets, filing proper documentation, assisting with monthly closings, and ensuring confidentiality are also key aspects of your role. Requirements: * Associate's Degree preferred. * Minimum of 3 years of hands-on accounting experience in high-volume payables processing. * Ability to track budget expenses effectively. * Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and flexibility. * Strong team player with the ability to analyze large amounts of information. * Ability to maintain positive vendor relationships and communicate effectively with the Accounting Manager and vendors. * Strong mathematical skills for solving complex problems and providing report analysis. * Proficient research abilities and results-driven focus.
