We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Product Support and Logistics Division as a <strong> Risk & Compliance Associate in Morton IL. </strong> <br> <br>The <strong> Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) </strong> is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. The Aftermarket Parts Distribution team supports our dealers through the Parts Distribution network to get parts to our customers as quickly, efficiently, and safely as possible. We cover a wide variety of areas from demand planning and inventory management to dealer order support and receiving, storage and shipping operations. <br> <br>This Risk & Compliance Associate role ensures compliance with the enterprise and business division's ethical standards and examines any non-compliance issues. <br> <br> <strong> Additional Info </strong> : <br> <br> <ul> <li> This role is located in Morton IL and does not offer relocation <br> </li> <li> Our team embraces flexibility through a hybrid work model. In addition to working onsite at one of our PSLD facilities, our hybrid work model allows employees flexibility to work from home based on business need <br> </li> </ul> <br> <strong> What You Will Do: </strong> This position is responsible for coordinating and executing compliance tasks associated with Export Controls, Customs Management, and Product Regulatory (Emissions and Non-Emissions) activities within the Aftermarket Parts Distribution network.These tasks include: <br> <br> <ul> <li> Completion of US EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) Declaration Forms for all US engine imports within the Aftermarket Parts Distribution network. <br> </li> <li> Country of Origin training and monitoring <br> </li> <li> Data audit reviews and requests <br> </li> <li> Intermittent regulatory and non-regulatory requests. <br> </li> <li> Also includes becoming a process owner for certain compliance areas. <br> </li> </ul> <br> <strong> What You Have: </strong> <br> <br> <strong> (Skills Required for the role) </strong> <br> <br> <ul> <li> <strong> Process Management </strong> : <br> </li> </ul> <ul> <li> Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques <br> </li> <li> Knowledge of 6 Sigma processes and protocols <br> </li> </ul> <ul> <li> <strong> Risk Management </strong> : Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques for assessing and controlling an organization's exposure to risks of various kinds; ability to apply knowledge of risk management appropriately to diverse situations. <br> </li> <li> <strong> Problem Solving </strong> : Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations. <br> </li> <li> <strong> Effective Communications </strong> : <br> </li> </ul> <ul> <li> Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and technique <br> </li> <li> Ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. <br> </li> <li> Ability to train others <br> </li> </ul> <ul> <li> <strong> Accuracy and Attention to Detail </strong> : Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision. <br> </li> <li> <strong> Analytical Thinking </strong> : Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems <br> </li> </ul> <br> <strong> What Will Put You Ahead: </strong> <br> <br> <strong> (Preferred Skills for the role) </strong> <br> <br> <ul> <li> Bachelor's Degree or Higher <br> </li> <li> Knowledge of Export Controls, Customs Management, or Product Regulatoryareas <br> </li> <li> Knowledge of Parts Distribution <br> </li> <li> Experience using MS Visio <br> </li> <li> Knowledge of SAS (Statistical Analytical Software) and SQL programming <br> </li> <li> Operations exposure - either manufacturing or logistics <br> </li> </ul> <br> <strong> What You Will Get </strong> <br> <br> <ul> <li> You are able to be part of a team where we review the global application of regulatory compliance.
