Job Description Job Description Snelling is currently recruiting for a Revenue Officer for an amazing company in the Homewood area! Responsible for providing quality customer service, data entry, taxpayer call center support through phones, email, and correspondence for our local, business license and sales and use tax online systems. Starting Pay: $18.00-20.00/hr, depending on experience Duties and Responsibilities for Revenue Officer Heavy inbound and outbound phone calls, provide online support for taxpayers, correspondence through email support, etc. Ability to complete tasks by deadline and with little supervision. Experience & Abilities Required for Revenue Officer
  • Minimum 1-2 years in an office environment with heavy inbound/outbound phone experience.
  • Heavy data entry experience
  • Minimum 3 years customer service experience.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of Alabama, California, Louisiana, Georgia, Texas Business Tax requirements helpful.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to speak effectively with customers and employees.
  • Ability to proofread correspondence, detect/correct errors, and read and interpret city/county tax ordinances.
