Job Summary Job Summary The purpose of the School Nurse is to perform under general supervision school nurse services for preschool and school age students; provide a variety of health assessments, screening services, and other duties as required. View Job Description Requirements / Qualifications EXPERIENCE: At least six months of acute care and/or hospital experience is required. Previous experience in a community health or school agency highly desirable but not required. EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university is required; Master's degree desirable. CERTIFICATES/CREDENTIALS/LICENSES: • Possession of or ability to obtain a valid Registered Nurse License issued by the State of California and a Service Credential with specialization in health school nurse. • Valid California Driver's License. You must provide copies of permit/credential as required for position or provide evidence of qualifying for required permit/credential with your application materials to qualify for the position.
