Job Title: Senior .NET Developer - Application Security

About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled .NET Core Developer with a solid foundation in software development and API creation. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in application security engineering, particularly in utilizing SAST, SCA, and DAST tools. This role also requires hands-on experience with DevOps practices and a deep understanding of OWASP principles. You will play a key role in leading offshore development teams to ensure the delivery of secure, high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using .NET Core.
Design and implement APIs that meet both functional and security requirements.
Ensure application security by applying SAST, SCA, and DAST methodologies.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines, automating the software development process.
Lead offshore development teams, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Utilize a deep understanding of OWASP principles to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, offering clear and concise explanations of complex technical issues.
Qualifications:
Extensive Software Development Experience: Proven experience in .NET Core development.
API Development Expertise: 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing APIs.
Application Security Engineering: 3+ years of experience in application security, specifically with SAST, SCA, and DAST tools.
DevOps / CI/CD Experience: Practical experience in DevOps and CI/CD practices.
OWASP Knowledge: Strong understanding of OWASP principles and their application in software development.
Leadership Experience: Experience in leading offshore development teams.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
Service Now AVR or Threadfix Experience: Familiarity with these tools is a plus.
Cloud Experience: Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
