We are looking for a self-starter with a can-do, solution-forward approach, strong organizational and collaboration skills, and a passion for marketing to join the marketing team. The Marketing Assistant will support the work of the marketing and sales departments, including, but not limited to, event planning and coordination, copywriting, branding, social media planning, competitor research, and promotional activities. Marketing Assistant is a full-time, in-office (on-site) role based at the San Diego office, reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager. Position Responsibilities: Trade Shows and Events (40%) Assist in planning and preparing for regional and national trade shows, exhibits, demo days, and customer events (must be able to lift heavy objects). Provide support with marketing assets, such as signage, product samples, booth materials, collateral, and presentations, and coordinate shipping timelines to ensure on-time delivery. Assist with renewing annual memberships, sponsorships, and dues and registering for trade shows, conferences, and events. Track all tradeshow and events expenses. Marketing Administration (30%) Monitor and fulfill sample requests. Keep track and organize sample inventory and first articles' availability. Keep stock and work with a graphic designer to order promotional items for giveaways and trade shows. Work cross-departmentally on product updates, new releases, white papers, articles, brochures, product manuals, and other marketing materials. Oversee marketing customer-facing collateral/product literature updates and production, including, but not limited to, data sheets, booklets, product catalogs, graphics, promo materials, brochures, etc. Perform competitor product analysis. Assist the sales team with marketing requests. Maintain Asana projects up to date. Maintain the marketing folder system, ensuring all marketing materials are up to date. Interact directly with subject matter experts, product and sales functions to ensure the timely completion of marketing projects. Brand and Digital (30%) Ensure consistency of brand identity and messaging throughout all materials. Assist with creating articles, white papers, email campaigns, employee monthly newsletters, presentations, etc. Assist in planning digital assets (video, photo, webinars, etc.). Assist with email campaign technical set-up, testing, and list maintenance. Oversee social media channels: maintain an editorial calendar including company updates pipeline, conceptualize value-driven ideas, plan, write captions, coordinate media/creative deliverables, and execute posts, ensuring a consistent presence of Innovive messaging on social media platforms. Stay current on industry, customer, and marketing trends; convert the insights into value-based ideas and campaigns. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills: Strong writing skills. Exceptionally well-organized. Working knowledge of applications such as Asana, , Slack, or an equivalent; Microsoft applications, such as PowerPoint and Teams; Google Workspace; Zoom Webinars, SurveyMonkey. Ability to manage multiple cross-functional marketing projects simultaneously. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, communication, and follow-up skills. Superb soft skills and ability to successfully interact with colleagues in cross-functional teams. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, effectively communicate ideas, and see projects to completion on time. Self-motivated, combining initiative with complete follow-through is a must. Basic knowledge of Adobe CS is a plus. Experience in ESP such as Klaviyo or an equivalent is a plus. Ability to meet deadlines. Ability to prioritize, adapt, and pivot is a must. Solution-forward and customer-oriented mindset. A learning mindset is a must. Education & Experience: A bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field is required. 1-4 years of relevant work experience. Location:
