YOU WILL:

  • Lead the reporting process, which involves responding to the reporting needs and ad hoc data requests of GetCoveredNJ, troubleshooting reports, and leading quality assurance of reports for accuracy and completeness.

  • Work closely with the client and key stakeholders to define requirements, develop reports, perform data quality checks, and deliver reports that meets the needs.

    • Report types can vary from operational reporting, regulatory, statutory, and compliance.

    • Reports will be used by GetCoveredNJ executives and management to understand the efficiency and effectiveness of the New Jersey SBE, facilitate operations, and guide operational and strategic decision making.

    • Some ad hoc reports may have same day turnaround with a high level of visibility.

    • Report development is done primarily using Sisense and secondarily with other development tools such as Excel.

    • Contribute to reviewing system design documentation for upgrades to the GetCoveredNJ enrollment system and understand the reporting implications of potential data model changes.


IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:

  • Experience in the government, public health, and/or health policy fields.

    • Health Benefit Exchange experience is ideal.


  • Experience with Sisense or other visual reporting tools.

  • Experience using Excel to create professional quality visual reports.

  • Experience in a reporting role consisting primarily of report development.

  • Solid analytical report writing and proofreading skills.

  • Ability to understand health policy and stakeholder viewpoints for the production of targeted work products.

  • Achieve on-time reports, dashboards, and other work products.

  • Experience with design principles, font usage, placement concepts.

  • Provide support in verifying the accuracy, consistency and readability of the reports, databases, dashboards, and files as needed.

  • Experience in synthesizing and distilling large amounts of information into concise bullets, graphics, and frameworks; and identifying and producing summaries of key findings.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills, including demonstrated ability to engage in active listening, translate or reflect back information, and tailor communication to the audience.

  • Motivated self-starter with initiative to take independent action and accept responsibility for their actions.

  • Well organized, flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient with a strong attention to detail.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with all levels of management and staff, as well as other outside clients, vendors, and stakeholder groups.

  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality.
