<strong>Company Overview</strong>: Our client, a leading renewable energy company, is offering a unique opportunity within the renewable energy sector. This location has an established 100 MW wind farm and a newly launched 100 MW solar farm. The site includes 67 wind turbines and 550 acres of solar panels, providing a dynamic and growing work environment.<br><br><strong>Role Overview</strong>: As a Renewables Technician, you will be trained to maintain both wind turbines and solar panels. This dual-role opportunity is typically split between two individuals, making this position unique and offering extensive career growth. You will become a versatile and experienced technician within a rapidly expanding industry.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong>:<br><br><strong>Maintenance and Inspection</strong>: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and inspections on wind turbines and solar panels.<br><br><strong>Reactive Maintenance</strong>: Address reactive maintenance issues, often due to weather impacts on equipment.<br><br><strong>On-Call Duty</strong>: Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, being on-call once a month for a week. Receive an additional $2 per hour for on-call work.<br><br><strong>Work-Life Balance</strong>: Enjoy a flexible schedule with the opportunity for three-day weekends if you prefer not to work overtime after completing 40 hours during your on-call week. <br><br><strong>Compensation</strong>:<br><br><strong>Hourly Rate</strong>: Starting at $25/hr for limited technical ability, with potential to earn $40/hr+ as a lead technician. Pay will be based on your technical skills and motivation demonstrated during the interview process.<br><br>Requirements <br><br><strong>Technical Background</strong>: Prior technical experience is required.<br><br><strong>Personable and Willing to Learn</strong>: Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn and grow in the role.<br><br><strong>Team Player</strong>: Ability to work effectively in a small team environment. The current team consists of 10 members, with a total staff of 15.<br><br><strong>Height Requirement</strong>: Must be willing to work at heights of 300 feet.
