PBI-Gordon Companies is hiring a Corporate EHS Specialist to join its team in Shawnee, KS. This role includes travel to subsidiary locations, with 10-25% travel expected.

As the Corporate EHS Specialist , you will support the development and implementation of corporate and site-specific EHS policies and programs across all PBI Gordon and subsidiary locations.

Position Responsibilities:
•Develop, update, and manage safety programs to ensure full compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations at the Company's locations
•Support local EHS teams to ensure training is compliant and consistent across all facilities
•Conduct facility audits to evaluate the effectiveness of local programs and guide EHS teams regarding current and anticipated safety issues
•Partner with local EHS teams to develop and maintain a comprehensive emergency action plan for each location and assist during incident investigations, root cause corrective action plans, and corrective action implementations

Position Requirements:
•High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Safety, Environmental Science or related field preferred
•3+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing/production/warehouse environment
•Knowledge of Federal OSHA regulations, including the development and implementation of compliance programs and employee training
•Experience with auditing and incident investigations
•Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
