Pharmacy Technician - Part Time Union - Progressive Pay Scale

Location: Cub Foods Eden Prairie

Reports to: Assistant Store Director

Classification: Part Time Union

Rate of Pay: Progressive scale up to $17.50 / hour, based on experience

Hours: Sunday - Saturday, varied hours

• Make lasting connections with our customers
• Stock, assemble, and distribute medications quickly and efficiently
• Adhere to infection-control policies and protocols to protect customers and employees
• Record and file physician's orders and prescriptions
• Train as a cashier
• Work with the team to ensure an awesome department
• Promote customer service for the entire team
• Have 2-3 years of experience working in a pharmacy department
• Know about maintaining customer confidentiality and removing outdated drugs
• Motivated to grow their career and continue learning

Other:

• High School Degree or GED required
• Must be 18 years or older

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent:
• Lifting/carrying up to 10 lbs
• Pushing/pulling up to 20 force pounds
• Reaching, standing, turning
• Equipment Operation: scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine
• Mental: judgment/decision making, social skills/verbal interaction, memorization, reading, writing, math, computer skills
• Occasional:
• Lifting/carrying over 10 lbs, squatting, stooping/bending, walking

Frequent = 15% of the work shift or at least 10 repetitions per work shift.

Occasional = approximately less than 15% of the work shift or fewer than 10 repetitions per work shift.
