Job Summary:
Overall responsibility for planning, verifying execution of the plan, escalating problems, and completing objectives of projects according to constraints and with high levels of stakeholder satisfaction at tool manufacturing facility. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party suppliers to deliver projects according to the plan. Communicating risks and successes to key stakeholders, including project team, directors, and executives. Managing multiple projects simultaneously. Adhering to project management governance framework, cultural expectations, and ways of working.

Knowledge | Experience | Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business field or combination of education, skills, and experience. At least 5 years of tool and die manufacturing, injection molding, or closely related industry experience in a technical, hands-on role is required with at least 2 years of Project Management. Knowledge of machine shop order of operations and manufacturing processes are preferred. Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are required. Strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Project, Teams are required. Experience with Smartsheet's or other project management information software is preferred. CAPM or PMP certification is preferred. Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently and clearly. Onsite with remote or hybrid work at management discretion. Daily local travel, occasional domestic travel and infrequent international travel to other manufacturing facilities or customer sites.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
•Oversee and manage new tooling projects during the entire project life cycle from conception to site acceptance
•Develop a project scope of work, assemble the project team, clearly define project deliverables, resource requirements, risks, and assumptions.
•Develop full-scale project plans and manage leveraging project management toolkits.
•Document risks, assess, and develop response strategies.
•Visit shop floor to communicate with team and visually verify task progress.
•Aggressively communicate project expectations and exceptions to team members and stakeholders.
•Capture and distribute project records including notes and related documents.
•Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
•Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
•Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path requirements.
•Escalate project risks and/or failures in accordance with escalation process.
•Perform ongoing maintenance of project document archives
•Ensure project management conforms to governance framework including processes, toolkits, and standard practices.
•Lead and host meetings, events, and relevant activities in the office, virtually, and abroad.
•Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and complete ownership of project success.
•Managing special projects as assigned.
