Overview:
The End User Hardware Engineer provides technical expertise specific to hardware to strengthen the reliability, efficiency, and performance of the enterprise.
It is critical that this role be a technical partner to implement established standards and procedures which support the enterprise's managed infrastructure along with ensuring operational stability.
This role is responsible for implementing reliable Hardware solutions that maintain the integrity of the existing infrastructure as well as meet the customer objectives. Works effectively in a team to establish commonalities with IT peers across the enterprise.
Core Responsibilities
Capturing business and technical requirements for hardware solutions when engaged to support specific projects or new adoptions.
(Laptops / Desktops / Displays / Mobile Devices / Printers / Scanners / Payment Devices/ MTR Kits / Conference Room Camera / Audio Equipment / Misc. Peripherals, etc.).
Make decisions around hardware configurations and systems specifications.
Coordinating and leading in the design, testing, evaluation, implementation, and support of solutions on an enterprise-wide scale (hardware, software, systems tools, and IT processes).
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware deployments (Bios/firmware/drivers).
Design and document enterprise standards and procedures.
Ensure proposed solutions and platforms/systems conform to established enterprise/industry standards (systems management, security, operating systems, etc.).
Maintain lifecycle of hardware across the enterprise with over 100k devices.
Qualifications:
2+ years of dynamically responsible work experience in Endpoint Engineering.
Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position
