Perform integrated flow assurance and process engineering analysis and act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Flow Assurance Chapter within the Chevron Technical Center (CTC); Lead high impact technical services projects which support the Chevron enterprise asset; Provide technical consulting and support for Research & Development (R&D) in Flow Assurance and Process Engineering within context of integrated production systems from well head to export station including PVT, CFD, Asphaltenes, Emulsions, Hydrates, Multiphase Flow, Production Chemistry, Rheology, Scale, Solids Transport, Wax, and Subsea Flow Assurance; Water / Solids Management Design; complex process facilities with expert knowledge of Flow Assurance and Process Engineering tools; Collaborate with other Chapters within the CTC Operating Model; Oversee the corporate Process Safety Time practice and perform complex Process Safety Time calculations; Actively participate in Process Engineering communities; Lead and assist with mentoring and coaching; Perform Surface Digital Platform Product Owner responsibilities; Represent Chevron in industry forums. Position requires 15% travel to various, unanticipated sites throughout U.S. and internationally. Required Qualifications: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field and 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a Flow Assurance Engineer related occupation. Position requires experience in the following: Flow Assurance and Process Engineering design and execution for gathering systems, gas and water injection systems, and complex process facilities, including high H2S production. Providing integrated design solutions from production wellheads to complex process plants, and to injection wellheads using integrated flow assurance and process engineering competency. Supporting pipeline and complex process facility safety reviews, such as HAZID, HAZOP/LOPA analysis. Performing modelling of abnormal operating conditions and writing pipeline and complex process facility start-up procedures and supporting procedure HAZOP reviews. Utilizing Process Engineering and Flow Assurance modelling tools, such as Hysys, OLGA, PipePhase, and PipeSim. Safety instrumented system design, leading and overseeing corporate process safety time practices and performing complex process safety time calculations using dynamic tools.
