Job Summary

Adjunct pool applications are reviewed on an as-needed basis.
Adjuncts are paid starting at $900 per credit hour.

Provides instruction to post-secondary students in assigned content area, both technical and general education, and other related activities.
Typical Job Functions

  • Provides instruction to post-secondary students in assigned content area
  • Develops related instructional materials (such as syllabus, lectures, course materials, evaluation tools, classroom activities, and others).
  • Maintains consistent office hours
  • Attends in-service meetings each semester.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in subject area
  • In field experience (Business)
  • Incumbent must reside in the State of Idaho (Currently CEI doesn't sponsor H-1B Visas)
Additional Desired Qualifications
  • Bilingual ( Spanish)


Physical Demands:
Delivering course instruction includes the ability to lift files or instructional materials, open filing cabinets; and bend, sit, or stand as necessary.

Work Environment:
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

On-site work is essential and regular predictable attendance is required. Employees may be required to work at occasional events and handle tasks outside of regular working hours.

Background Investigations:
Employment at College of Eastern Idaho will be contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background investigation and may require a credit and/or motor vehicle background investigation depending on the position. Please refer to Policy 225: Background Checks.
