Counter Sales/Customer Service Representative
Big C Lumber in Edgerton, OH is currently seeking a Counter Sales/Customer Service Representative . This is a full time, day shift position with benefits.

Counter Sales/Customer Service Representative responsibilities include:
  • Assist in building material sales to professional builders, remodelers, and do-it-yourselfers
  • Place special orders
  • Assist in coordinating deliveries
  • Assist in preparation of quotes
  • Maintain shelf tags and inventory levels as needed
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions
  • Pull Store items for delivery
  • Communicate clearly, accurately, and effectively with employees, management, and customers
  • Perform any special assignment/projects as required by the General Manager

Counter Sales/Customer Service Representative Requirements:
  • Building material knowledge
  • Post-frame construction is a plus, but not required
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to make change, handle money and process credit cards
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to coordinate as well as work in a team
  • Ability to adapt to in-house software
