About This Opportunity: CareATC is currently looking for an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner that will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary treatment team to provide exceptional patient care. The CareATC approach to is to work with our patient population to assist in chronic disease management through individual interventions, clinic support and ongoing education. The Family Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with the clinic staff to provide high quality, comprehensive primary care.
Job description:
OnSite Care is looking for an exceptional Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team at our clinic in Kingman, AZ. Our providers can spend thoughtful time with their patients without having to consider RVUs/production requirements. We do not see Medicare/Medicaid patients. This clinic will operate with a single provider, without a Medical Assistant. Candidates must be capable of functioning without MA support. This is a part-time exempt position scheduled for 24 hours per week Monday through Friday, including a 1-hour lunch break each working day. Exact schedule to be determined and somewhat flexible. The position is fully benefit eligible including PTO, CME, medical, dental, vision, and more.

Basic job duties and responsibilities include:
  • Completing pre-employment physicals
  • Assessing and treating a wide range of illnesses and injuries, as well as providing vaccinations and preventative care.
  • Prescribing and administering medication.
  • Treating patients with common acute conditions, illnesses, or minor traumas.
  • Monitoring chronic conditions, i.e., blood pressure checks, glucose monitoring, etc.
  • Ensuring compliance with standards of care and practice by all established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in a medical treatment facility.
  • Refer patients to correct medical specialists or other practitioners when necessary.
  • Order diagnostic tests as applicable.
  • Assist patients to increase knowledge of specific conditions through individual and/or group educational opportunities.
  • Some paid on-call time is required as needed.
  • Experience in Occupational Medicine, including but not limited to hearing and vision testing, vision testing, drug and alcohol testing, etc.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Active and unrestricted state NP/PA License and Federal DEA Registration are required.
  • Must be able to comfortably and successfully perform phlebotomy and provide injections.
  • Must be capable of functioning as the sole clinic provider without MA support.
  • Experience in Occupational Medicine required.
  • Family Practice experience preferred.
  • BLS/ACLS Certification Required
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus.
Qualifications
  • Must see children ages 2+
  • Provide Virtual care to patients when needed and clinically appropriate.
  • Experience providing primary care and diagnostic services in a clinical setting.
  • Experience prescribing appropriate medications, treatments, and health regimens to treat patient health Issues
  • DEA required for prescribing and dispensing
  • Ability to pass on-site credentialing
  • Current license in the state(s) where Nurse Practitioner will practice
  • Comply with all medical laws and HIPAA standards
  • Strong desire to promote health, disease management and prevention.
