*About the Opportunity: *My client is currently seeking a Program Director to oversee their residential staff. They work with individuals living with mental health and/or substance abuse issues, and will assure that the services provided to tenants meet their individual needs. They support their patients by expanding the opportunities available to them by providing affordable housing, advocacy, training, and other healing services.
*Job Description*
* Provide for the staffing and operations of a specific residence, including hiring, managing, training and scheduling staff.
* Monitor the health and medical needs, completes and tracks required medical documentation and ensures follow up is completed
* Review and, where needed, revise documentation written by Mental Health Clinicians.
* Monitor program budget and on-site financial procedures and records
* Maintain petty cash accounts and residential personal funds. Report resident’s earnings as needed
* Collaborate and effectively communicate with all treatment team members to ensure quality services being delivered to the residents
* Facilitate regular supervision, training and teaching sessions with all staff.
* Facilitate annual reviews and assist staff in professional growth and development.
* Provide mentoring and leadership to all staff and provide positive corrective feedback and/or training and support as needed, utilizing different training modalities including working on the floor.
* Screen and assess participants for the treatment of co-occurring substance use disorders.
*Job Requirements*
* Master’s Degree in Social Work or a related field
* Minimum of 3 years in supportive housing environment with adults who have a psychiatric diagnosis/ history of homelessness/ substance abuse issues.
* Minimum of 1 year supervisory or management experience preferred.
* Knowledge of multi-disciplinary mobile team experience preferred.
