Key Responsibilities:
- Restroom Maintenance: Clean and sanitize 2 public restrooms on a regular basis.
- Lobby Maintenance: Perform lobby upkeep every other month.
- Water Bottle Filling Station: Decalcify and clean the water bottle filling station as needed.
- Vacuuming: Vacuum approximately 10,000 square feet of building space.
- Mopping: Mop floors as required.
- Garbage Removal: Empty and remove trash from all areas of the library.
- Window Cleaning: Clean minor windows as needed.
- Staff Kitchenette Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness of the staff kitchenette.
- Facility Security: Secure the facility, including having keys to all main floor areas.
- Other Duties as Assigned: Complete additional tasks as required to ensure a clean and orderly environment.
Requirements:
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Must be able to work before the library opens or after it closes.
- Reliable and trustworthy with a strong attention to detail.
- Must have the ability to lift and move items as needed.
- Flexible and willing to perform various cleaning and maintenance tasks as assigned.
Schedule Options:
- Option 1: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
- Option 2: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
