Job Summary: The Occupational Therapist Assistant at Cherrelyn Healthcare Center will work closely with patients and Occupational Therapists to provide rehabilitative care and improve quality of life. - Provide rehabilitative services to patients under the care of Occupational Therapists
- Assist patients with exercises and activities to improve strength, balance, and mobility
- Observe and document patients' progress and communicate with the Occupational Therapist
- Instruct patients and family members on proper techniques for exercises and equipment use
- Maintain clean and organized treatment areas and adhere to healthcare and safety standards
Requirements: Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program, state licensure, and minimum 1 year of experience preferred. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
