Under the general supervision of the Nurse Operations Manager, this role will assist the Health Educator in providing for the medical needs of our residents.This may include medication passing, attending physician appointments, completing treatments, documenting and/or other assigned tasks.The Medical Assistant may also act as a phlebotomist when trained for managing medical supply inventory.Medical Assistant ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Medication PassingStaff TrainingMaintain Health Educator schedulingSchedule/Attend external appointments, as directed by the Health EducatorEnsure Vitals are documented/available to Treatment TeamDocumentation managementH.R.
