Mass General Brigham is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Float Perioperative for a nursing job in Medford, Massachusetts. Schedule: Night Shift - 36hrs per week; 9hr or 12hr shifts based on the needs of the department (9p-930a) The Perioperative Float RN will possess the ability to assess, plan, implement, evaluate and accurately document nursing care for patients in the preoperative, acute and extended recovery phases of Perianesthesia patient care. Coordinates all aspects of nursing care to achieve defined patient outcomes. Demonstrates initiative, knowledge and clinical skills in caring for the patient with complex needs. Needs to possess the skill to provide appropriate education to the patient and family regarding their plan of care. The Perioperative Float RN must demonstrate excellent customer service skills when interacting with patients, families and coworkers.
