Job Summary
The intramural student employee is responsible for assisting with recreational sports organized to promote team building and community for the university.
Essential Job Functions and Performance Indicators
The intent of this job description is to provide a representation of the types of duties and level of responsibility that will be required of positions given this title. Job Responsibilities
  • Plans, executes and officiates intramural sports
  • Assists with pre- and post-game logistics
  • Assists with preparation and inspection of game sites
Service Orientation
  • Serves as a greeter and assists students and personnel with scheduling and inquiries
  • Provides a friendly, upbeat and customer-service oriented environment at all times
Communication, Collaboration and Teamwork
  • Collaborates and provides feedback regarding program policies and procedures
Planning, Organizing and Accountability
  • Serves as team lead for events and submits necessary paperwork in a timely manner
Initiative, Problem Solving and Decision Making
  • Provides guidance and adjusts events for last-minute changes with weather, availability or equipment
University Mission
  • Supports the mission of the university and serves as an ambassador of the Q2 culture of service excellence

Required Qualifications - An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered. Additional requirements may be designated by position.
