In this role, you will work closely to deliver care that supports older patients facing an acute illness. The patient population, for this unit is older adults, typically aged 70 and above. Our focus is maintaining function, providing education, and maintaining safety Our nurses manage 5 medical patients per shift and work with an interdisciplinary team that includes a unit-based Nurse Practitioner, attending and consulted physicians, a pharmacy, a physical therapist, and other assistive personnel. As a member of the 6A team, you will engage in a true relationship-based care model, building relationships with patients and families, as well as with your peers, guided by our values of love and excellence.
