The HR Manager will work closely with the existing (and growing) HR team and management in North America to develop organizational strategies and prepare the company for accelerated growth. This is an ideal role for a resourceful, determined, organized, and adaptable individual with deep emotional intelligence.Primary Responsibilities Implement projects, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the organizationBe the authority on HRIS utilization globally and manage administration and troubleshootingLead employee relations for junior and mid/senior staffContinuously improve Onboarding and Employee EngagementPrepare and analyze qualitative and quantitative feedback surveys, and determine best delivery of resultsOversee exit management procedure for departing employees including maximizing learnings from exit interviewsHelp prepare job descriptions for open positions and see that they are kept up to dateBuild and improve company policies and proceduresOwn Employee Handbook and Corporate Ethics documents updates and revisionsSupport HR Senior Director and VP with corporate communications (regarding COVID updates, company reorganizations, new tools, and processes, etc.)Assist recruiting efforts US and internationally as neededMaintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employeesManage the work flow of the Office & Facilities teamsHelp improve connectivity and cohesiveness across all departments and regions RequirementsRequirements 5 - 7 years of proven experience resolving complex HR functionsWorking knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including employee relations, diversity and inclusion, performance management, and employment law2+ year's experience directly managing peopleExperienced in developing and supporting managersA degree in a Human Resources or equivalent work experienceUtmost sensitivity to confidential informationSolid organizational skills including strong attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple projectsThe ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment with changing prioritiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite / Google Apps and HRIS softwareA problem solver capable of thinking outside the boxSolid team player who can collaborate cross-functionally Compensation Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, AD&D insurance available after 30 days401(k) plan with company match available after 30 daysEmployee Assistance Program22 PTO + 2 VTO + 9 paid holidays per yearHybrid work scheduleYear-round Flex FridaysCatered vegetarian lunch available in the office M-FCasual office environmentTerraCycle requires all employees to provide proof that they have been fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus, or have a valid religious or medical reason for being exempt.
