Monday - Friday with rotating evening and weekend call shifts

*4- 10 hour shifts (0645 - 1715)
9 to 10 call shifts in a 4 week period, including every 3rd weekend.

Must have at least one year of OR experience.

This is a great opportunity for an RN seeking to utilize critical thinking skillsets in a highly acute, procedural setting.

The Vascular and Endovascular Operating room provides diagnostic and therapeutic vascular procedures for both adult inpatients and outpatients. The operating rooms employ state-of-the-art technologies and equipment to remain at the forefront of the diagnosis and treatment of vascular disease. The vascular OR has two operating rooms and an endovascular suite. Procedures include but are not limited to: Placement of intravascular stents, embolization of vascular structures, diagnostic peripheral angiograms, peripheral revascularization, endovascular abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, thoracic aortic endovascular stent placement, carotid and femoral endarterectomies, arteriovenous fistula creation, leg amputations, open abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, aorto bifemoral bypass, and femoral popliteal bypasses.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
  • Required Experience: One year of OR nursing
  • License: current RN license in our state
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
