What You'll Be Doing

  • Assist in planning and designing small system components under supervision.
  • Conduct interviews with users and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
  • Support the development team with functional design and documentation.
  • Create documentation for business systems, workflows, and program functions.
  • Assist in programming, testing, and documenting systems like MES, Batching, and Control Systems.
  • Participate in advanced programming tasks involving PLCs, HMIs, and databases.
  • Provide operational support by resolving technology issues for manufacturing and operational technology customers.
  • Aid in selecting Business Intelligence platforms for clients.
  • Support the installation and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and networks.
  • Assist in system installation and startup at customer sites; provide after-hours support as needed.
  • Participate in customer training for system operations.
  • Design dashboards and visual solutions using PowerBi, Tableau, Spotfire, and Grafana.

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, ideally focused on:
    • Computer Science
    • Engineering
    • Data Analytics
    • Management Information Systems
  • Up to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or a related field.
Preferred Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems .
  • Foundational understanding of business operations , including accounting, manufacturing, and operations processes.
  • Familiarity with programming concepts .
  • Understanding of statistical models such as regression, clustering, and classification (a plus, but not required).
Travel Requirements:
  • Travel required to install systems and provide plant start-up services at customer sites.
  • Travel may vary according to business needs, with up to 35% expected.
