Registered Nurse - Admission/Discharge RN

Job Specifications/Qualifications
Two years experience preferred
Education
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Current RN license in the state of Arkansas
Current BLS certification
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties or task may be requested or assigned by immediate supervisor, his/her designee, or other management/supervisor.

• Facilitates throughput through the ED to the medical surgical units
• Completes admission assessment and initiates care orders as appropriate
• Facilitates discharge as ordered by the physician
• Provides focused patient instruction and education
• Observes patient, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor or Physician of patient's condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents.
